Motion e2 Elbow
At 439 grams (size medium) the Motion E2 Elbow is the smallest, lightest-weight externally powered elbow on the market. A very versatile elbow for use with smaller individuals or adolescents, it can be used with either simple switch control for a relatively low-cost system or proportional myoelectric control. Forearms can either be prefabricated or available via central fabrication from Fillauer. Add the versatility of multiple control systems, and the E2 elbow becomes an excellent choice for smaller individuals or light duty applications.
Available in four colors: (Tan, Light Brown, Brown and Jet Black)
- Myoelectric control: The Motion E2 Elbow can be operated via a ProControl 2 module for elbow control and the terminal device (using a standard motion control ETD or Hand). The result is a relatively low cost, lightweight system with proportional elbow and hand control.
- Simple switch control: The motion E2 Elbow can be used with the in-hand controller terminal devices (such as the Motion Control ProPlus family of terminal devices, i-LIMB or BeBionic Hands). The Motion E2 Elbow can then be operated via a simple switch, or proportionally via a ProControl 2 module. A system can even be designed with an electric wrist rotator incorporated for a 3 degrees-of-freedom system.
- Build height from elbow center of rotation to lamination collar – 2 ½ inches (6.4 cm). Forearm saddle for exoskeletal forearm lamination is included. Forearms can either be fabricated by the customer, or custom prefabricated via central fabrication from Fillauer.
