Motion Control Product Overview
Powered Flexion Wrist
The Motion Control Powered Flexion Wrist (PFW) provides a previously unavailable degree of freedom for persons with upper limb absence. Powered flexion allows the wrist to flex and extend through motor control, without the wearer needing to position the wrist using their other hand or device.
Combining high speed with proportional control and adjustability, the user can fine tune the PFW to allow hands-free targeting on an object. The Pause@Home feature allows the wearer to set a point in the range of motion that is commonly used. Paus@Home will stop the device at that point for a moment of time (adjustable by the user). Available with the MC hand, MC ETD or MC ETD2)
