The Waterproof Collar for Quick Disconnect Wrist creates a waterproof seal at the wrist making a transradial prosthesis waterproof from the waterproof terminal device (ETD or ETD2) to the forearm. The prosthesis may be submerged to the first opening in the socket. A terminal device with this collar installed is incompatible with Ottobock forearm wrist disconnect units and Fillauer Motion Control wrist endcaps manufactured before January of 2019. This waterproof collar option must be installed by Fillauer Motion Control.
