The Fillauer Motion Control Multi-Flex Wrist for the Motor Direct (Standard) ETD moves in multiple directions and is spring loaded to the center of travel. The spring loaded centering provides a “natural” feel as the Wrist can flex in any direction as needed to adjust to the loads placed on it, and provides a more comfortable feel versus a rigid Wrist. The manual latch mechanism enables or disables the latch. When the latch is enabled, the Wrist is locked in flexion/extension, compliant in radial/ulnar deviation. When the latch is disabled, the wrist is unlocked and compliant in all directions.
